So recently with the release of the huge news all around in the latest Dev Diary Raphael let us know that they did not have time to create a brand new Halloween Event. This is really sad, but understandable since Tales from the Far Territory is coming in December and what is being included in the initial drop needs to be prepared and refined for release.
So where does that leave us, well thankfully I’ve been preparing a user created challenge for a while and it slots nicely into Halloween. Originally it was developed as a challenge called Faithful Photographer, and was going to take you across all of Great Bear photographing through a list of location. It is because of the nature of the challenge that I could adjust it readily to a Halloween theme.
So let’s see what you’ll be doing in this challenge!
Rules
I am one that records Let’s Play series, you can do that if you wish, but you are only required to take imagery and notes in your journal after you have visited each location on the list below.
This challenge is about visiting and photographing as many of the locations listed below as possible. As soon as it is safe after you have visited a location you are to write a report about the location. This is a Halloween challenge, it is up to you how scary or creative your stories are, once they are complete make sure you take a screenshot of them. So this is not simply a challenge to take dynamic pictures, but also to tell creative stories. Can you tell and extended story that covers all of the locations you survive long enough to visit, that would be cool but it’s not required.

I want everyone to enjoy playing this challenge so you can play on any difficulty level.
I will provide two Custom codes as well…both are codes between Stalker and Interloper. (Make sure you set Aurora’s to Max).

You also need to use the Heritage filter: This is done under Options—> Quality—-> Image filter.

- Forlorn Muskeg– Broken Radio Tower and Poachers Camp
- Mystery Lake- Carter Hydro Dam Control Room, Abandoned Lookout and Destroyed Lake Cabins
- Pleasant Valley- 3 Strikes, Crash Site and Lonely Homestead
- Coastal Highway- Quonset, Abandoned Lookout and Bear Creek Campground
- Mountain Town- Burned Down School, Prison Bus Collapse, Spruce Falls Bridge and Will Mackenzie’s Plane.
- Crumbling Highway- Harris Basement and Road Collapse
- Desolation Point- Riken, Stone Church and Matt’s Truck
- Timberwolf Mountain- The Summit and Eric’s Falls/Waterfall Cave
- Hush River Valley- Mysterious Signal Fire and Watchful Falls
- Ash Canyon- Miner’s Folly, Gold Mine and Homesteader’s Respite
- The Ravine- Fallen Tree Bridge and The Trestle
